This project engrained in me a new appreciation for Persian culture and design. As an outsider looking in, I was able to find what spoke to me and display it in a creative way within these 4 spreads. Using mostly my iPad (Procreate) and Adobe Illustrator, I combined my illustration and graphic design skills to create a compelling portrait of Iranian design. The artists and designers who inspired me during this project got their shout-outs in my Graphic Design spread; Homa Delvaray being a huge source of inspiration!
After doing extensive research, I got started with some sketches of my spreads. I came up with some general concepts and was surprised at how close my final designs came out.
